This song is taken from the second installment in the EarthRise SoundSystem Remix Project. Three of AWAKENING’s four main tracks (the EP includes instrumental versions of each song as well) are full-tilt house. The other remixers featured on this volume are Duke Mushroom, deejay soul & Don_Cerati and Mark Basta. As we’ve come to expect from the versatile EarthRise SoundSystem, all of these tracks incorporate a world of other sounds and styles as well.

The one non-house (but still holding the vibe) track is the opener, Nickodemus’ interpretation of “Always (feat. Renata Youngblood).” It’s more of a slow boil, but still dancefloor-tested. Grab the instrumental version and you’ll hear what we’re talking about.
