Our son, Arna Sol was born at 27 weeks after my wife was hospitalized for a month when her water broke at 23 weeks. Arna had to fight for his life due to severe lung hypoplagia among other complications and spent 3.5 months in the NICU. After coming home, each month brought more stabilization to his health and he is now a thriving, walking toddler. This song honors his journey and his big prayer for life as well as conveys our immense love for our miracle boy.
It is sometimes bewildering how taut a bow’s string must pull so that its arrow may travel the distance to its destination. The arrow of Arna Sol’s life has already made its mark on many hearts, and we are more alive for it.
