This song is an exploration of space in sound, a deeper journey into the melodic aspect of the water prayer. Slowing down the vibrations allowed for crystals to form in the spaces between. Inspired by the water drumming of Tim Floyd, who Joe Anderson and I recorded many years ago on Lummi Island, I ran a nice bath, put the headphones on and recorded myself water drumming along to the song, making new water layers with a very nice condenser mic. This created a new tonal palette from which to build rhythms to start the song.
