This song has gone through many evolutions. For one of them, I reached out to talented west coast hip hop artist Shamik and asked him to contribute a lyric. We had been at a few festivals together and I thought it would be sweet to be able to do a song together live. I sent him some files and within a very short time Shamik sent me back some strong material, allowing me to rearrange the track to showcase his vocals and really tie the piece together.
